In this period of greatly diminished runs of wild Atlantic salmon and the elimination of recreational angling opportunities in the State of Maine, we need to maintain and enlarge membership in our Atlantic salmon conservation organizations.
By joining with us, you help provide the resources needed for our local conservation initiatives and our award winning Fish Friends educational program. You also give us a stronger voice in those areas where we need to exert influence—water withdrawals, dam relicensing and dam removal, river restoration and habitat protection, aquaculture policy, and state and federal appropriations. We work at the forefront of these and the many other issues impacting the conservation and restoration of our endangered wild Atlantic salmon and its environment.
A $4O.OO combined membership in ASF and the MC-ASF entitles you to receive our award-winning quarterly publication, the Atlantic Salmon Journal. You will also receive Casting, the newsletter of the Maine Council, and have the opportunity to purchase collectables through ASF’s Angler’s Cache. Bonafide current members of ASF may join the Maine Council for only $10.00!
In addition to membership, the Maine Council of the Atlantic Salmon Federation greatly appreciates any additional donations or contributions that you can make to our organization to assist us with our conservation and education efforts throughout Maine. MC-ASF is a (501(c)3 nonprofit organization.
